Sleepy stitches and puppets galore…

Hello friends!

Last week was full of slow stitching, puppet making, puttering, and staring off into space. Not the best of progress, but needed I think.

This week is prep for WV Pop Con the 23-24. Inventory has been checked, tagged and packed. Now to put finishing touches on a few projects and puppets! Moar puppets!

I decided that the mushrooms were a lost cause, putting them in the bad boy box to be revisited at a later date. A new blackwork piece has been started and I’m well pleased so far, keep your fingers crossed.

A new puppet is in the works with an extra pair of arms found at the bottom of the puppet bin. He has a working name of Slim Jim (don’t ask me where THAT came from, cuz I couldn’t tell you!) I am trying posable fingers again, only this time I have a tutorial from Project Puppet to help! Hopefully I will have a video to share with you next week! There will also be a handful of glorified sock puppets to take along to WV PopCon.

Tomorrow is docent day at Canal Quarter Arts where I believe I will take the blackwork and pretend to be productive…. or possibly Slim Jim to work on… we’ll see how I feel in the morning, but something will be worked on tomorrow. :-D
