Better Late Than Never

Whelp. I missed Friday. In my defense I had a really crazy week. I mean 12 Monkeys kinda crazy. Anyway! I’m here now! But my apologies for missing you on Friday!

The only stitching I got done this week was to lay out and start drawing a new subject for the next blackwork. It involves a tree and bark so it’s going to be interesting. It will have a small bit of green grass as an accent because I’ve discovered I really like a pop of accent color. I’ve been waiting for the right time to do this picture so I’m excited to get started stitching, but… we’ll have to see how it goes. Hopefully it doesn’t end up in the Bad Boy box.

I did prep for a small market on Sunday and stress crocheted my evenings away, so some creativity happened! I’ve been working on lace curtains for the library. It’s going to be a long long term project, but I’m half way through the first of two windows!

There really isn’t much to update you on so I’m going to call it good and sign off. There will be pictures and progress on Friday’s installation so stay tuned!
